I'm half English and half I-Kiribati. I was born in the village of Kilu'ufi, on the island of Malaita, and moved to Hawkes Bay at the age of one.
Throughout my time at Massey I was privileged to be involved with several major projects, such as contributing to the AFL 2014 commemorative Guernsey design, and exhibiting a sculptural piece in the 2014 Wellington LUX festival. My major project helped me to realise my unique approach to design, push boundaries and explore new forms of expression. I'm now keen to become involved with more design projects back home in Hawkes Bay.
Being exposed to the seasonal employment of Pacific Islanders in the horitculture and viticulture industries in Hawkes Bay, I'm currently investigating ways in which design could play a role in the industries' development.
