Challenge 2: Go Game

Entries are due midday, Tuesday 14 April
Create a single level for a new game with a positive environmental message, aimed at children aged 8–12.

You can draw, paint, digitally illustrate or even sculpt a level for your game. Check out our Pinterest board for inspiration.

Submit below
A high-resolution JPEG (digital work, scan or photograph) showing your creation with a 150-word maximum statement about your game and the level you've designed, and the message it has about the environment.

Terms and conditions

This competition is open to students enrolled in New Zealand secondary schools in Years 9 or 10 in 2020.

The 5 weekly winners will be selected by the judge of the week exclusively.

The 5 winners work will be published online.

By submitting work to this competition, students consent to their images being used in marketing by both Massey University and our partners Weta Workshop, PikPok and Gordon Harris.

Online vouchers will be supplied to winner before their entries are displayed online.

Physical prizes will be posted to winners when possible. Winners of the Go Digital prizes will need to supply their sculptris file for printing. Some changes may need to be made to your design to allow for this to be printed.

It's not too early to start planning.
