Erna Stachl is an academic who has a particular interest in addressing agency for marginalised communities and identities. Currently she is co-leading the Matauranga Māori focus for the College of Creative Arts academic development project.

    Art history/theory, education, gender, feminist, class, post colonial and intersectional discourses. 

  • Teaching Focus

    Stachl is responsible for the delivery of second and third year critical studies papers with a particular focus on the relationship between institutions, agency and intersectionality.
